District PEFA Implementation Unit (DPIU) is established in each district with a view to enhancing financial transparency and accountability at the local level. It is expected that it supports to coordinate, communicate and disseminate the PFM and PEFA related activities and information at the local level. The current composition of DPIU is as follows:

  • Chief, DTCO - Coordinator

  • Chief Administrative Officer, District Coordination Committee  - Member

  • Chief Executive Officer, respective Local level where the district Headquarter is situated  - Member

  • An Officer level Representative, District administration Office - Member

  • Officer, designated by Coordinator - Member Secretary
